The Red Shoes

An erotic twist on the classic fairytale

Karen is a celebrity photographer that finds herself in possession of a small fortune after she captures the proposal of a famous couple on film. Her first luxury purchase, is a pair of incredible red shoes. But the shoemaker has a dire warning. The more she wears the shoes, the stronger the curse upon them grows.

The Red Shoes

Fourteen for 2014

I took a necessary medical leave during the last half of 2012 and all of 2013. For that reason, the titles I’d planned to publish ended up getting pushed back and pushed back until here I am in 2014 with fans sending me daily messages asking when they’ll see the next Seduction series book or the inside to covers I’ve leaked onto Facebook.

As a special kind of thank you to everyone that has stayed with me during my long hiatus, I made a challenging New Year’s resolution. My goal is to publish fourteen titles in 2014. That is more than a title each month!

The Red Shoes is my final contribution. I hope you enjoyed all the crazy stories and characters I’ve introduced this year, and I hope you’ll join me in 2015 for more fun and romance.

The Red Shoes is currently available from most major bookstores. It can also be downloaded in .pdf or .rtf (Word doc) to read on your home computer, by visiting Smashwords, the first link below.

“They have awakened from their long sleep and will call to you to wear them, but you must not do it. You promise me, you must not wear them again.”
Karen tightened her arms around the box, turning slightly in preparation for escape, should it become necessary.
“I already gave you my promise,” she skirted around the need for a second lie. “Thank you for cleaning the shoes. I have to go now.”
She could feel the little man’s eyes on her back all the way to her car, and was relieved when she was locked safely inside the vehicle with her precious heels still safely clutched in her arms.
The shoemaker had frightened her. But everything would be alright now that she had the red shoes back.
